Special Guests! (Duran and Brett):

• They came to promote their production, Tick, Tick, Boom! at a NEW theatre company in Mechanicsville – Stage One Theatre Company (90 seat blackbox theatre)
  • Show opens Nov.7 runs thru Nov. 22^nd
  • 8pm nightly performances, 2:00pm matinees
  • Student tix ($15 for us! – usually $18)
  • Student RUSH tix ($10 at the door…)
  • Cast willing to do a talk back/Q&A/backstage session with us if we get a group together to go

President’s Report:

• Congratulations to all who participated in the Russian performances! Thanks so much from Walter and Scott!
• Who wants to do crew for The Skin of Our Teeth???!!! Contact scott.masarky if you’re interested!
  • DO TECH. IT’S FUN.
• Anyone still interested in the London Trip? Let Walter know…walter.schoen or Scott…scott.masarky
• There is an ALL CALL this Saturday October 25^th and next Saturday November 1^st from 9-5pm
  • If you’re a cast member of The Skin of Our Teeth you need 8 shop hours! So you NEED to go to one (or both for four hours, etc.)
• There is also a light hang from 7-10pm on Sunday October 26^th.

Secretary’s Speech:

• There is an APO Night THIS Friday October 24^th after rehearsal for The Skin of Our Teeth in Fredrick Rehearsal Hall! Start brainstorming on acts & mark your calendars! Hope to see you there!

Student/Theatre Liaison’s Lecture:

• Keep up your interest in student theatre! If you’re interested in doing something let Glenn or Adam know! (glennie.carroll or adam.ferguson)
• There is a one-act festival produced and stage managed by Paul on November 5^th and 6^th @ 6pm
  • The one acts are SHORT and are being directed by Adam and Chloe
  • More details to come…!
• Brunch Feedback! – email Glenn and let her know what you thought about the brunch and how it can be improved or how completely awesome it was! Again, glennie.carroll…

IN OTHER NEWS…

• From Alex: Alex is the props master for Skin of Our Teeth and he needs an assistant! Please let him know if you’re interested…(it would be beneficial if you have a car)
• From Chloe: JUST FYI….There will be an interest meeting for The Vagina Monologues November 24^th. Mark your calendars!
• From Sloane: We’re going to Homecoming Formal! If we get a group of 25, we can go for $10 a person!
  • If you’re called for rehearsal for Skin of Our Teeth, no worries! It doesn’t start until 10pm!
  • It’s at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts – there are shuttles throughout the night!
  • Sloane can get you tix if you give her money!
  • Let her know you’re coming (sloane.true)
